The sun finally came out in São Paulo for this second day of Supermodel of the World. It was an early start to a long day in which the finalists were measured, “Polaroided,” and finally test photographed. There’s a video crew on hand interviewing the girls for a making of Supermodel of the World video. Needless to say the second day of Supermodel of the World has been eventful.

Riga, Latvia 15th of November, 2009, Wulfran Quiarel Ford Models Worldwide Scouting Director and Agris Blaubuks Ford Models Supermodel of the World licensee holder in the Baltic States and 2bmodels Director announced the selected 15 girls from Latvia who will participate at Ford Models Supermodel of the World Baltic States contest final. To date 2571 applications have been received from all over Latvia, a nation of 2.3 million people. The pool of applicants were narrowed to 35 semifinalists and down further to 15 finalists. The Ford Models Supermodel of the World Baltic States final will be held in Riga, Latvia on November 28th, where there will be announced three finalists from the Baltic States that will participate in the Ford Models Supermodel of the World final in Brazil and for a $250,000 contract with Ford Models. Before the Baltic States final there will be two days of preparation in Hotel Alberts where girls will have photo sessions with photographer Natalia Berezina and catwalk lessons with sixfold Latvian champion in sport dancing, Laura Kosite.
